Dr. Kirti Kapur has a total of 24 years of experience in the teaching of English Language and literature. She has taught in various schools and colleges across the country and since her appointment in NCERT in 2000 she has been working in the areas of curriculum, syllabus and text book development, evaluation, training, research and consultancy. She has published and presented 40 papers internationally and nationally and has also attended several international and national seminars on issues like Multilingual Education, Second Language Teaching, Problems of Learning Among Tribal Children, Issues in Assessment etc.

Professor (Dr.) Usha Tandon is an eminent Professor of Environmental Law,Population Law,Gender Justice and Family Law. She is the world renowned scholar for her work on human development focusing on environmental protection and women empowerment. Recently (Oct,2015) she has submitted the Country report on International Research Project on Climate Change Commitments:An Ethical Analysis” conducted by University of Auckland,NZ and Widner University,USA with support from IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law and its Specialist Ethical Group. She has authored/edited books on the Climate Change (2016) and Gender Justice (2015).
Prof. Pawan Kumar Singh [Keynote Speaker]

Prof. Singh is a Member at the Faculty of Management Studies (Organisational) Behaviour and Industrial Relations) at IIM-Indore, since 2004.Other than holding enviable posts at other universities as well, he is best known for his research and work on themes related to the Indian perspective of
management, incorporating Ancient Hindu Scriptures, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali etc and juxtaposin them with human values, health and lifestyle. His interest has led him to write a book on Managing Interpersonal Conflict; he has penned a unique Anthology of Verses in Hindi –Jeevan Prabandhan ki Shayaree.

Shreya first met Sri when she was 3 years old. Since then there was no looking back. Shreya is the national coordinator and director for the Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES). She has won awards for river-rafting at the national level and has won the Kirmani award for climbing the largest monolith in Asia. As soon as she became a teacher in 2002, she told Sri Sri that she wanted to do something challenging. Shreya was also the youngest teacher to be sent abroad. She has taught all over the world in countries like China, Surinam, Brazil, Argentina, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, in all the Mediterranean countries and across India., travelling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujarat to Assam in one month, reaching out to lakhs of people.


Dr. Amit Sen [Panellist]

Dr Sen has been practicing child psychiatry for 15 years. After finishing medicine from AFMC Pune, he went to NIMHANS Bangalore for an MD in Psychiatry. A longish stint in Newcastle UK made him serious about life and proud of his country. Besides growing his family, he managed to get another 2
qualifications, one of them being in child and adolescent psychiatry. Working with children, the football and rock music, dreams and aspirations, have all come together for him. Through the myriads of magical and fulfilling experiences, Dr Sen feels that he has developed empathy over the years and
can connect to children and their families. In doing so, he hopes to make a difference, however little, in their lives. He is the Co-Founder of Children First, a clinical team comprising of child & adolescent psychiatrists, clinical and counselling psychologists and family therapists.

He believes ‘reading is a pleasurable activity with the ability to “open a world of possible.’ He has helped create the One Nation Reading Together Kids & Family Reading Report™, India Edition, the first-ever survey of Indian children aged 6–17 and their parents—as well as parents of children aged 0-5
regarding their attitudes and behaviors around reading for pleasure. Mr. Jain is an alumni of Hans Raj College, Delhi, a registered CA, he is an MBA from the Indian School of Business.

A Graduate of Defense Services Staff College, Wellington, the general officer has done the prestigious Higher Defence Management Course at the College of Defense Management, Secunderabad and Post Graduate in Management Studies from Osmania University. Commissioned in 1985 the General was has tenanted Instructional Assignments at National Defense Academy, Khadakwasla, Young Offrs Wing at Army Service Corps School, Bareilly and Colonel Instructor training and Method Office at ASC Center (South), Bangalore. He served in UN Peace Keeping Operations at Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) as a Staff Office Logistics. He is presently the Commandant ASC College and Centre, Bangalore.
